The existence of somatic CNV mosaicism was first observed in a study of monozygotic (MZ) twins that displayed structural variations between them [ 12].
Thus, tetraploid T. dicoccoides displayed structural variation both at the promoter and 1st intron regions of VRN-A1 locus, whereas at VRN-B1 no significant differences were found in the studied accessions.
