We furthermore decided to turn the displays by 90 deg in Experiments 2 and 3 (see Fig. 2), to control for the possibility that the downward motion in the displays of Experiment 1 was interpreted as motion toward the observer's own body (e.g., toward the legs under the table).
A custom computer program (LabWindows/ CVI, National Instruments, TX, USA) was written with a graphical user interface allowing for experiment automation and for real-time display of the experiment.
Summary: The HeatMapViewer is a BioJS component that lays-out and renders two-dimensional (2D) plots or heat maps that are ideally suited to visualize matrix formatted data in biology such as for the display of microarray experiments or the outcome of mutational studies and the study of SNP-like sequence variants.

Summary: BigWig and BigBed files are compressed binary indexed files containing data at several resolutions that allow the high-performance display of next-generation sequencing experiment results in the UCSC Genome Browser.
The final condition (masking) was analogous to that of Experiment 2: The display began without a gray overlay, and after the eye fixated within a segment and then moved to a new segment, the previously inspected region was overlaid with the semiopaque gray.
The probe record also displays a list of experiments associated with the probe.
Figure 1b displays another set of experiments performed on the rat brain thalamic region punched from the bulk biopsy specimen from a prior cryosection.
For a given compound, the "MeRy-B card" displays the list of experiments in which it was detected and, for each experiment, additional metadata are listed (species, tissue/organ, and project name), together with a summary of the analytical results (e.g. for H-NMR: chemical shift, multiplicity, minimum and maximum values for quantification).
