The use of these (or other) displacement patterns is based on the main objectives of the performed biaxial tests: on one hand, the comparison between uniaxial and biaxial load paths, and on the other hand, the evaluation of the effect of the different biaxial displacement patterns in the column response.
The initial displacement patterns in anterio-posterior direction (Fig. 4, Table 3), vertical direction (Fig. 5, Table 4), and stress patterns in the PDL (Fig. 6, Table 5), bone (Fig. 7, Table 6), teeth (Fig. 8, Table 7), and implant in two implant and three implant scenarios at different implant heights were analyzed (Table 8).
Brackets with 0.022 slot were placed on the teeth, 19 × 25 SS wire is placed in the brackets, an anterior retraction hook was placed at 9 mm height, and analysis was done to evaluate the stresses and displacement patterns in consolidation and non-consolidation models.
So, the present study was conducted to evaluate the analysis of stresses and displacement pattern in two implant and three implant combinations with and without consolidation.
The results revealed that the center of pressure displacement pattern in sole of foot can be a good index for differential diagnoses and measuring the degree of disabilities.
The intranasal suture in RME exhibited a displacement pattern in medio-antero-inferior direction at the posterior surface of the suture, suggesting of a wedge-shaped opening in the nasal cavity causing the widening of the same.
Therefore, the purpose of this study was to evaluate the stress distribution and displacement pattern in the mid-palatal suture area and around circum-maxillary sutures using bone-borne palatal expander in a patient with unilateral cleft lip and palate in comparison with conventional HYRAX rapid maxillary expansion appliance using finite element analysis.

This section will, therefore, review the displacement patterns used in published studies and will briefly analyse their influence on the column behaviour.
