The goals of the working group are to describe disparities and the contributions of various social determinants of health, to target and evaluate the effects of interventions aimed at reducing disparities, and, to the extent possible, to develop and test hypotheses regarding the causal pathways that lead to disparities in conditions studied by the EIP.
