Impaired NK cell functional responses are frequently observed in patients with autoimmune disorders (discussed below).
Various epilepsies, movement disorders (discussed below), and neuromyotonia are also recognized in patients with VGKC-complex antibodies.
There is evidence of ginseng modulatory activity on the noradrenergic, dopaminergic, serotoninergic, cholinergic, and endorphin systems [ 26– 28], and there have been several reports of psychiatric symptoms associated with the use of ginseng both in healthy people and in patients previously affected by psychiatric disorders (reviewed below).
Using the new genomic data, the SHGP is aiming to investigate a number of diseases, which are common or endemic in the country and have a strong genetic component such as diabetes, deafness, cardiovascular disease, neurodegeneration, cancer and inherited and Mendelian disorders (discussed below).
As with borderline personality disorder (discussed below), the features of antisocial personality disorder tend to fade in middle age, but there remains a high risk of suicide, accidental death, drug or alcohol abuse, and a tendency toward interpersonal problems.
Gross overactivity in children can have many causes, including anxiety, conduct disorder (discussed below), or the stresses associated with living in institutions.

Death by suicide and other external causes of death were 15 times more common among patients with bipolar disorder below 30 years of age compared to persons of the same age in the general population (figure 2D).
SOX11 is suggested to function in the developing nervous system while lack of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) gene function in knock-out mice increases the outgrowth of axons from neurons of the spinal cord [22] (GFAP is central in an IPA cluster related to neurological disorders. See below and Fig. S3).
