Predictions of cropland and crop production change, both in magnitude and spatial pattern, are uncertain for many reasons and we highlight a few of them here (see the Materials and Methods section for a complete discussion on sources of uncertainty).
The criteria related to quality included: sampling, methodology (comparative design or not, including randomization), use of objective outcomes, and discussion on sources of bias and generalizeability of findings.
