In July last year he opened the prolonged debate over the controversial nu clear weapon by discussing a theme very close to his heart for three decades.
So, for instance, in an English classroom, you might generate synonyms for overused words like "shows" to help students move beyond "This shows that…" or "The author shows this…" In history, you might generate different ways to present dates or ways to vary word choice when discussing a theme like war or civil rights.
Following on from the exploration of these broad themes, join a focus group chaired by an expert in the area to discuss a core theme in more depth with peers.

In our results, we use the terms 'most' or 'many' when the majority of participants or the focus groups discussed a particular theme, 'some' when half of the groups identified a topic, and 'few' when themes were discussed by one or two participants in less than half of the groups.
