If we have any hope of making progress on issues like online harassment, LGBT discrimination, access to healthcare and equal pay, we have to stand united.
The major strengths of the AACES study are that it uses standard protocols for data collection across 10 geographic regions in the U.S. encompassing both rural and urban regions and it collects data that are of particular relevance for AA women, including perceived discrimination, access to health care, and cultural and folk beliefs, that have not been collected in previous studies of OVCA.
