A number of national digital stations saw double-digit year-on-year drops, including Bauer Radio's The Hits, down 19.9% to 973,000, Global's Xfm, down 13.2% to 882,000, and Sunrise Radio National, down 23.7% to 447,000.
Among the national digital stations, there were double-digit year-on-year losses at Bauer Media's Q, which fell 26.2% to 214,000.
The main Absolute Radio station was up 18% on the previous three months to 1.65 million, with double-digit quarterly increases for all four of its digital stations, the biggest of them at Absolute 80s, up 43% to 894,000.
It will launch 10 new digital stations next year.
But its sister digital stations did less well.
