A digital reading platform that embeds interactive vocabulary assessments and comprehension tests in literary texts may guide young readers to "just right" books, and may give teachers insight into their students' reading stamina and their progression from one "Lexile level" — a measure of literacy — to another.

It appears that the applicant will be working on "developing application software for digital reading and other consumer electronic devices" all on Android's platform.
Digital reading is assessed by creating closed web sites with multimedia material (texts and images), such as a social media platform for learning a language, an official city website, or a chain of e-mails.
