The importance of liquid helium temperature cooling technology in the aerospace field is discussed, and the results indicate that improving the efficiency of liquid helium cooling technologies, especially the liquid helium high frequency pulse tube cryocoolers, is the principal difficulty to be solved.
During the design and construction of the beamline, many technical difficulties needed to be solved because of its high energy resolution, high photon flux and high focusing quality, including the design of monochromator, the design of Kirkpatrick Baez (KB) mirror system and the manufacture of the optics.
The main difficulties that had to be solved in the fabrication process were related to adhesion and patterning of the various metal films, and especially to developing the correct bonding recipe.
The challenges are discussed in order of their chronological appearance: First, a number of legal and ethical issues have to be sorted out with legislators and network operators, followed by operational difficulties that need to be solved.
Some difficulties still need to be solved, such as searching for the proper raw-materials to make sure that the conductor have the properties of high current carrying capability, the necessary radiation resistance, the proper strength, at the same time, it must be come true in manufacture technology.
Apart from the promise of performing quantum computations, however, these investigations also revealed a great deal of difficulties which still need to be solved in practice.
