To determine whether the BrdU+ cells differentiated, sections were co-labeled with markers of differentiation.
*Diff.: Differentiated For immunostaining, paraffin sections of 4-micrometer thickness were de-paraffinized, placed in a solution of 97% methanol and 3% hydrogen peroxide for 5 min, then autoclaved for antigen retrieval.
Sections of poorly differentiated neuroendocrine carcinomas of lung and small intestine as well as of well-differentiated neuroendocrine carcinoma of pancreas were used (Table 1).
In order to determine whether disregulation of TACSTD2 is associated with SCC, immunohistochemistry staining of TACSTD2 was performed on sections of poorly differentiated SCCs collected from cervix (n=20), esophagus (n=5) and head-and-neck (n=6).
These markers, up-regulated in microarrays of both HFK and stem-like WT xenografts, were found to be ubiquitously expressed in differentiated renal tubular epithelial cells in sections of HFK while only faintly positive or negative in progenitor structures of the nephrogenic zone and were therefore eliminated from FACS analysis (Fig. 5c d and e f, respectively).
Following these classification of values, two main sections of values could be differentiated: individualistic (i.e. self-centred) and collectivistic (i.e. group-oriented) values.
Sections of the cell layers of the differentiated MSC cultures stained with X-gal demonstrated that only cells embedded in matrix show LacZ expression (Fig. 3c).
The groups with known clinical conditions were differentiated from those without such conditions on the two sections of the scale (p ≤ 0.001) (Table 5).
Vincristine, 5-fluorouracil (5-FU), and methotrexate (MTX) have been incorporated into the liposomes, and studies carried out using the differentiated cell lines Caco-2 and TC7, and with 150 histologically normal sections of human colon.
