The difference in the elimination half-lives between the test products was not significant, suggesting that the elimination of nicotine from blood is not affected significantly by the difference in the nicotine absorption sites.
All three molecules exhibited linear pharmacokinetics within the dose range tested because area under the curve and maximum concentration (Cmax) increased linearly with increasing dose and a significant difference in the elimination parameters such as clearance or half-life was not observed.
This may be due to the difference in the elimination rate constant after oral dosing.
The mean values and covariate effects of docetaxel clearance in Japanese patients were comparable to those obtained in the European and US population, suggesting no racial difference in the elimination of docetaxel (Fig. 1).
