However, the plots also indicate the enormous sensitivity of the degree centrality to the threshold level, as significant differences in the centrality values are observed between different thresholds.
But this measure does not account for differences in the centrality of one's friends.
However, we did not see any difference in the betweenness centrality of the top ten microRNAs by degree or the top ten genes by degree in the signalling pathways (p<0.089 to p<0.687 for microRNAs and p<0.37 to p<0.987 for genes).
