The two groups of patients were not different in rest O2Pulse values, but they significantly differed in peak O2Pulse and in peak-rest O2Pulse values (7.6 ± 3 vs 5.6 ± 3 mL/bpm), which were both significantly higher in OB patients than in NW patients (p < 0.05).

Another explanation is that peak frequency rather than frequency-modulation is critical for the appetitive value of 50-kHz calls, since Burgdorf et al. [32] showed that frequency-modulated and flat calls also differ in their peak frequency.
Rostrocaudal regions did not differ in period, peak width, or amplitude (p>0.1; LD versus DD: p>0.1), although rostral and central regions were brighter than the caudal SCN (p<0.02; LD versus DD: p>0.5).
Because the fluorescence tags of the secondary antibodies (Alexa 543 and Alexa 488, respectively) differ in emission peak, we simultaneously recorded total fluorescence on a confocal microscope and separated fluorescence channels in post processing with ImageJ.
Although the two species differ in seasonal peaks of activity, P. imparis and L. humile are active throughout the year, and we observed frequent interactions between the species when foraging on trees.
These maps are similar to conventional QTL maps, but differ in that peaks are usually narrow (unless confounded by local linkage) and there is no genome-wide LOD significance threshold.
The clusters above differ primarily in peak expression across the six elutriated fractions, which can also be broadly classed as G1-, S-, or G2&M-enriched.
Thus, the bush communities differed in their peak flowering patterns from the shrubland, broad-leaved meadow and savanna over the year (Table 6).
