The director, Matthew Arbour, serves up some lovely nonverbal touches, and one of the sharpest is the horrified head jerk that both husbands (Jeffrey M. Bender and Ned Noyes) use to finish the question "Did she... ?" (Yes. She did).
Glitch recalls being on a first date with someone who asked, "So you dress up?" When he said that yes, he did, "she went to the bathroom and never came back".
The question would be, "Did she ever say — or indicate — yes"?
And, oh yes, how did she play?
When the phone rang, I said, "You didn't find it, did you?" "Oh, yes, I did," she said.
I did that to myself, yes I did," she said referring her cropped, messy haircut in the film.
Then do something like this: So does she say yes?
Does she have children (yes, four sons) and where does she live (New Orleans).
I'm no sports scientist, but this sounds like cycling-ese for "She takes just like a woman, yes she does; She makes love just like a woman, yes she does; And she aches just like a woman; But she breaks just like a little girl".
