The phrase "devoid of stress" is a correct and usable part of a sentence in written English.
It means "without any stress" or "free from stress." You can use it to describe a situation or environment that is very calm and relaxed. Example: "After a long day at work, I like to unwind in my backyard, which is completely devoid of stress with its peaceful atmosphere and gentle breeze."
But what there is here is a kind of flow – a way of being – that is so effortlessly devoid of stress it is impossible not to get caught in its molasses.
