In general, Akaike's information criterion and deviance values for models of associations were smaller with DMI than with NINO3 in Dhaka, and were smaller with NINO3 than with DMI in Matlab [see Supplemental Material, Figure 4 and Table 1 (doi:10.1289/ehp.1002302)].
