Ironically – and despite at least three influential reports on the subject over the last two decades – the development of support services close to where people already live are under-resourced.
This result is complemented by the finding that the focus of the development of support systems for schools in Germany is still more technical than pedagogical.
Moreover, studies have been conducted into the optimization and development of support tools to solve complex urban planning or landscape problems.
Development of support systems in the area of e-health have different set of conditions that makes it more difficult than in other context of IS/IT use.
