PIAAC-L aims at investigating the longitudinal effects of skill outcomes over the life course and the development of the key skills assessed in PIAAC.
UNICEF has contributed significantly to the development of key national policies and guidelines, including a Gender in Education Policy for Disadvantaged Children, and a Safe Schools Handbook, while also supporting training and skills enhancement to teachers, inspectors, and education personnel.
Women scored higher in 12 of 16 key skills -- not just developing others, building relationships, collaborating, and practicing self development, but also taking initiative, driving for results and solving problems and analyzing issues.
This is illustrated within the context of supporting Key Skills.
