Prior studies focused on the question to what extent arthritis contributes to the risk of developing difficulties in activities of daily living (ADL) and revealed multiple factors: Song and colleagues for instance found that arthritis is associated with an odds ratio of 1.5 (95% CI 1.2 1.8) to develop ADL disability [ 1].
The MOT mean error (both within group and between groups), RVP A′, and SWM strategy scores showed significant changes (p < 0.05), suggesting that individuals taking esomeprazole would be at high risk of developing difficulties in maintaining sustained attention, retaining and manipulating spatial memory, and planning strategy.
