WHEN Ford Lallerstedt lifts the baton today at St. Mark's Church here, he will be using a conducting style he developed as a teacher at both the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and the Juilliard School in Manhattan.
Perspectives co-founder and President Diana spokea-Cose spoke with HuffPost Chicago about what this grant means for her charter schools, and how she envisions expanding the philosophy she first developed as a Chicago Public Schools teacher.
