The best predictive model developed in this study incorporates 5 items from the baseline WOMAC questionnaire, specifically questions regarding baseline function and stiffness, although an extensive set of known determinants were considered as potential predictors.
Considering URE and UREN as dependent variables, with the exception of self-reported skin color, all other related determinants were considered likely predictors (p < 0.001).The logistic regression models for URE and UREN, according to the association variables, are presented in Table 2.
