Potential Failure Modes and Effects Analysis in Manufacturing and Assembly Processes (PFMEA) is an important preventive method for quality assurance, and through it the decisions based on the severity levels and probabilities of occurrences and detection of the failure modes can be planned and prioritized, seeking to improve the quality of the manufactured products.
Our purpose was to assess whether contrast-enhanced (CE) ultrasound examination, performed using specific contrast imaging modes, can be helpful for detection and characterization of breast lesions, and for prediction of the response of breast cancer to therapy.
