To explore the expression of the NBPF family members in more detail, we detected endogenous NBPF proteins in paraffin-embedded sections of human skin and cervix using a commercially available polyclonal anti-NBPF antibody (sc-82241).
In detail, we detected consistently deregulated profiles for lung cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, ovarian cancer, gastric tumors, pancreatic tumors, multiple sclerosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), sarcoidosis, periodontitis, pancreatitis and acute myocardial infarction [ 3].
