The source model derived from the offshore tsunami records indicates that a very large slip of 57 m occurred off Miyagi near the trench axis, south of the rupture area of the 1896 Meiji Sanriku tsunami earthquake, and was the major source of the highly destructive tsunami that subsequently developed.
Furthermore, we investigated the correlations between offshore indices, derived from comparisons of offshore tsunami waveforms, and coastal indices, calculated from comparisons of maximum coastal tsunami height distributions.
Figure 9a shows the offshore VRO VRC diagram derived from comparisons of the offshore waveforms at (t=5) min.
As well as these proximal records, I consider Nd isotope records from the Kirthar and Sulaiman Ranges in the lower reaches of the Indus (Zhuang et al. 2015), as well as from offshore derived from samples from industrial well Indus Marine A-1 and a variety of Ocean Drilling Program (ODP) and Deep Sea Drilling Project (DSDP) sites on the Indus Fan and Murray Ridge (Clift and Blusztajn 2005).
It helped the fund's favorability that it was budget neutral, its revenue derived entirely from offshore drilling leases rather than general taxpayer dollars.

But under I.R.S. rules, carried interest cannot be derived from a corporation, like the offshore blockers used by Sankaty.
We assumed that kinematic PPP is installed for the offshore ships derived from AIS data, and examined the capabilities of the tsunami forecast of a great tsunami scenario (M w 8.7) (Central Disaster Prevention Council 2003) using the PPP ship heights as well as those recorded using the currently operating offshore tsunami observatories in the Nankai Trough region.
Sediment generated by postglacial channel incision represents only ~ 25% of the total sediment yield from this landscape with ~ 75% of the estimated volume of the postglacial storage offshore probably derived from hillslope erosion processes following base-level fall at times when sediment yield from these catchments exceeded storage.
Sediment delivered into the offshore basin is largely being derived from erosion of the neighboring landmass; in the case of the Baiyun Sag this is the Pearl River drainage.
