The effects of crack depth, rotation speed and provided air pressure on the dynamic instability of a rotating spindle system are studied.
Sixty composite tibias were implanted with Oxford UKA tibial components with varied sagittal slope, resection depth, rotation and medial shift using patient matched instrumentation.
The control groups showed a systematic effect of depth rotation, with errors increasing with the angle of rotation, and with inversion.
Such models do not necessarily predict that recognition should be unaffected by either image plane or depth rotation, although they do predict greater generalization across small viewpoint differences that preserve the same shape features and spatial relations between them.
The primate brain contains a hierarchy of visual areas, dubbed the ventral stream, which rapidly computes object representations that are both specific for object identity and robust against identity-preserving transformations, like depth rotations [1, 2].
That is, none of the studies presented in Section 4 had measured the dependence of rat recognition on the type of transformation an object may undergo, as well as on the magnitude of the transformation along different variation axes (e.g., size, position, in-plane and in-depth rotation, lighting, etc).

The results revealed that handball and soccer players performed the in-depth rotations faster than in-plane rotations; however, the two rotation axes did not differ in gymnasts.
Other athletes, such as handball and soccer players, whose activities do require body rotations may have more experience with in-depth rotations.
In experiments 3 and 4 for each stimulus class, we tested recognition of targets in the frontal view and under rotations in a two alternative forced choice task (for faces: 3 in-depth rotations of 30°, 60° and 90°in each direction; for shoes:side view and top view).
However, most of tissue boundaries remained clear and distinct at all depths, rotations, and time points.
