For the analysis of BC incidence, BC mortality and case fatality, women diagnosed before entering the screening programme were excluded, as were women diagnosed with BC at first screen, because they never received a breast density code.
During the study period, breast density was dichotomised into F breasts, equivalent to BI-RADS (Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System (BI-RADS) Atlas, 2008) density code 1 and part of code 2, and M/D breasts.
The proportion of BI-RADS density code 3 or 4 at last mammogram was 64% in women aged 30 39 years, 60% aged 40 49, 40% aged 50 59, 29% aged 60 69, and 29% in women aged 70+ years.
As our cutoff point for M/D breasts included BI-RADS density codes 4, 3, and part of code 2, this was well in accordance with an earlier study, in which 13% of screens had BI-RADS density code 1; 53% had code 2; and 34% had codes 3 or 4 (Kerlikowske et al, 2007).
The old strata types had 3 fields: a 2 digit species code that described the dominant species or species mix, a 1 digit size-class code that described the dominant tree size, and a 1 digit canopy density code that described the degree of canopy closure.

The dichotomised density codes were entered in the database for the mammography screening programme and used in this study.
The density coding was re-evaluated using data from a Copenhagen study on long-term breast cancer risk in women with false-positive screening test [ 21].
Overall, there was no change in the women's distribution by BI-RADS density codes between the first and last mammogram, though the short follow-up time should be taken into account.
Distributed generalized low-density codes are constructed for multiple relay cooperative communications.
A distributed generalized low-density (GLD) coding scheme for multiple relay cooperative communications is developed by Han and Wu in the sixth paper "Distributed generalized low-density codes for multiple relay cooperative communications".
In [29], practical possibility of finite field network coding of highly correlated sources was investigated, with the aid of low-density codes and belief propagation-based decoding.
