MIAMI (AP) — Demonstrations at three Florida prisons where more than 40 children were shocked with stun guns have led to the dismissal of three employees and the resignation of two others, the Department of Corrections said.
Within the College of Medicine, the USIG has put on ultrasound demonstrations at three student activities fairs, two parents' weekends, and one second-look day for incoming students.
Efforts to disseminate the model include invited demonstrations at four academic institutions and consultations with several others who learned about the model through the CTSA consortium.
The circle stun gun demonstrations were at two prison in the southern part of the state, Indian River Correctional Institution in Vero Beach and Martin Correctional Institution in Indiantown.
"There are big, big jumps between a demonstration at one level and putting together the engineering systems for a mission, but they are engineering challenges.
