"demonstrate the view" is a correct and usable phrase in written English.
It is usually used to indicate that a specific set of facts or circumstances illustrate a particular opinion or perspective. For example, "Recent polling data demonstrate the view that the majority of Americans are dissatisfied with the current leadership of the country."
