Maternal age, the educational status of both the women and their husbands, status of ANC follow up, intention about place of delivery, perception about susceptibility, severity of delivery complication and perceived benefits of institutional delivery are important predictors of the actual place of delivery.
In this study, in concordance with many other studies [ 7, 8, 22– 31], no association was shown between PPD and any of the following variables: age of the mother, gender of the child, route of delivery, perception of pregnancy, perception of delivery, parity and maturity at childbirth.
