Bofill et al. [ 15], found that the incidence of instrumental vaginal delivery for dystocia was not increased among epidural patients and that the total increase in instrumental vaginal delivery could have been partially due to the conduct of instrumented deliveries for training purposes.
I am also proud to have contributed to the development and early thinking in south London about CEPNs as a new delivery model for training in the community, which I believe will be transformational.
Based on the survey results and research findings supporting face to face training as an effective mode of delivery for ethics training [ 14, 20, 21] a one day, face to face workshop was developed.
Distance learning was regarded as an acceptable mode of delivery for MECS training, although two optometrists would have liked the opportunity to ask questions and others wished that training had included practical sessions.
