The N. cyriacigeorgica and N. farcinica genomes were found to share 74.5% of their CDS, delimiting a Nocardia pangenome of about 4.5 Mb.
The HK PhoS (52.4 kDa) contains two transmembrane helices delimiting an extracytoplasmic domain of about 120 amino acids and in the cytoplasm a HAMP domain followed by the HisKA and HATPase domains.
Two genomic regions were associated to bakanae resistance and delimited to about 0.41 Mb on chromosome 1 (from position 628,091 to 1,040,823) and 0.59 Mb on chromosome 4 (from position 31,162,467 bp to 31,757,436 bp), and were named as qBK1_628091 and qBK4_31750955, respectively.
