Parental educational level was defined as the number of years of education needed to obtain the highest degree completed by the parent concerned.
The most common education level completed across all pain groups was technical/non-university degree, including the headache group, n = 158 (31.3%).
Participants read and signed an informed consent, eligibility was verified by interview, and a questionnaire covering demographic variables, driving history, technology experience and current state (degree of drowsiness, stress level) was completed.

Detailed information on the highest level of school completed was collected and the variable was categorized as "less than high school degree" (high school not completed), "high school degree" (high school diploma or general equivalency diploma), and "more than high school degree" (some college, vocational, or technical school; associate's degree; Bachelor's, Master's, or professional degree).
Students in these two SLP entry level degrees complete comparable coursework.
