Definitive maternal transcript degradation was represented by 17 genes including DPPA5, MYC or CLOCK, among others (Figure 3C), and the final embryonic genome activation was confirmed by the overexpression of 17 genes including EIF1AX, POU5F1 or TEAD4 among others (Figure 3C), which have already been described in other animal species [11], [22] [27], [52] [60].
