That afternoon as I fielded in the deep of the tree-lined ground, shaded from the harsh sunshine in the shadows beneath an oak tree, I thought often of the young suicide bomber Shehzad Tanweer who, it was reported, was a dedicated cricketer and who, it was said, had played cricket only a few days before he set off on his murderous mission to London.
From the values obtained in the bootstrap analysis, it was apparent that most of the deep nodes of the tree have low statistical significance.
In the presence of homoplasies, most undetected mutations would occur in the deep part of the tree and consequently should not be affected by heterochrony.
Multifunctional acyl-CoA carboxylase sequences formed different clusters branching at deep nodes of the tree.
Because of the relatively deep root of the tree (~538 ybp), we could not achieve unequivocal posterior support for this root location (also see [ 18]).

The deep nodes of the tree were supported by very low bootstrap values, suggesting that the information supplied by the 31 model parameters was highly heterogeneous.
Roughly half of the nodes were recovered with ≥ 95 MP bootstrap support (Fig. 9), and those nodes were spread across both shallow and deep nodes of the tree.
Of these, the arthropod clade was the most strongly supported as a discrete group and in general the deep branches of the tree received only weak bootstrap support (Fig. 5A).
