From about the middle 20s to the 50s there is a slight decline in visual acuity, and there is a somewhat accelerated decline thereafter.
Nine of 22 eyes with data had a decline in visual acuity ≥5 letters temporally related to the dissociation.
The stepwise regression pointed that decline in visual acuity was related in case of intermediate uveitis and panuveitis as compared to anterior and posterior uveitis.
