The ICM poll, commissioned to launch a week-long investigation into bias in Britain, focuses on everyday experiences of prejudice that could be a result of unconscious bias – quick decisions conditioned by our backgrounds, cultural environment and personal experiences.

In the "draws to decision" condition (administered first), participants were asked to decide which jar the beads were being taken from, with the instruction that they could draw as many beads as they required to make their decision.
Results for the proposal and decision condition, thresholded at p <.05 FWE cluster-level extent using an initial threshold of p <.001 uncorrected (and a cluster size of k > 102), can be found in the main text.
