We studied the seasonal, latitudinal, and interannual variability of the westward-propagating 2-day wave coincident with zonal wave number 3 in both hemispheres in the altitude range of 20 60 km.
Subsequently, we calculated single-week averages from eight-day means, coincident with weekly dengue incidence data.
Nitrate concentration shows a maximum level in 1998, with a later stabilization to present-day values, coincident with the first low-frequency signal found in the biological series.
