An agreement of the 14C dates obtained with these methods implies that both methods were efficient to remove the contamination from the samples, or that a contamination which would affect the determined 14C ages was not present in the samples.
The dates obtained with UCLN model, although most similar to those reported in previous studies [ 10, 14], offer little support for a Gondwanan origin of ariines.
