Most do not have catalogue numbers beyond their collection date and locality.
We only used specimens with complete data (date and locality) or where these data could be reliably inferred e.g. from the collectors name (Additional file 1: Table S1).
Collection specimens are associated with, at minimum, information on the date and locality of collection, and often have additional information, including associated observational data and physical samples derived from specimens, such as frozen tissues and DNA extracts.
Collection dates, collecting localities, and notes from museum catalogs were recorded.
For example, by using sources such as electoral rolls it may be possible to narrow down a combination of date of birth and locality of residence to just a handful of individuals.
This includes information regarding taxonomic identities, georeferenced localities, collection dates, and critical life history parameters such as sex, reproductive status, and relative age (Fig. 1; Cook et al. 2016).
Ancient muskox samples OMTai 14, 38, 39, 46, 95, and 23564, localities, carbon dates and museum identification numbers are described in detail in our previous study (see Table 1 in [ 12]).
The second list shall take effect no later than June 30 , 2009 the date for the withdrawal of combat forces from the cities, villages, and localities.
3. United States combat forces withdrawn pursuant to paragraph 2 above shall be stationed in the agreed facilities and areas outside cities, villages, and localities to be designated by the JMOCC before the date established in paragraph 2 above.
