For the query sequences, we used three datasets: soil microbiome metagenomic sequences (accession number, SRR407548, read length = 150 bp), human microbiome metagenomic sequences (accession number, SRS011098, read length = 101 bp) and marine microbiome metagenomic sequences (accession number, ERR315856, read length = 104 bp).
