The user may add or remove molecules using check boxes in the dataset panel.
To round out the full exome dataset panel, we included biomedically disease relevant exomes originally generated by Christopher Walsh's group [ 20].
This information is also reflected in the lower left 'sample list' panel that displays all samples being analyzed in the an experimental group, which is highlighted in the dataset panel by a single-click on the experimental group.

When training on GSE21374 in the kidney rejection dataset (left panel in Fig. 4), the classifier can pick from a set of ≈450 differentially expressed genes.
For comparison, we also show a ternary diagram of 677 complete SNPs that were randomly chosen from the dataset (right panel).
This trend holds true for all datasets (left panel of Fig. 2).
We have evaluated the method using simulated data, and have also applied it to two datasets: a panel of 11 human tissues and a set of 10 pairs of matched normal and tumor colon tissue.
This nationally representative dataset includes overlapping panels based on the previous year's sample of the National Health interview Survey (NHIS).
