The images of the FERET and LFW databases are represented in terms of the GHMs by choosing the values of α to be 0.25 and 0.15, respectively.
The overall process and integrated databases are represented in Figure 1.
Overall, these results suggest that approximately 55% of genes or ESTs contained in these databases are represented in the 2 week old plant GS20 454 Palomero transcript collection.

The taxonomic classification of hits from the nr database, by species, is represented in Figure 2.
Particularly interesting is At1g62060, whose function is unknown but is represented in databases by a total of 57 EST sequences (32 from immature seed libraries).
"With each passing month, more of the world's genetic diversity is represented in scientific databases, and each time more information is there, it's easier to interpret the next thing you see," said Jon Bernstein, MD, Shayla's clinical geneticist at Packard Children's and an author of the new report, which was published online July 21 in Genetics in Medicine.
