If working from the Ribbon, a chart will appear atop the Data worksheet data and this should be Copied or Cut and Pasted to the NEW Chart worksheet's upper left hand corner.
To create the Method2 spreadsheet, do menuitem Edit Move or Copy Sheet, with the Create a copy box checked, before sheet Chart and after sheet Data, to the same workbook, make a copy of the Data worksheet just done and title it Data (2) if not done so automatically.
Do menu item Chart Add Data and in response, click on the Data worksheet and select cell range K5 to L2877.

Mission accomplished!! Shrink the chart on the original Data worksheet and put it at the bottom of the data.
Also, only columns E and F of the Data worksheet will be charted, so the other columnar variables and data aren't needed for this article to succeed.
Do menuitem Chart Add Data and respond to the range query by selecting M6 N17286 on the Data worksheet.
Activate the Chart worksheet and click in the chart and in the menu, do Chart Add Data and in response to the range query, go back to the Data worksheet and select cell range H30 I31.
Click in the plot area and do Chart Add Data and in response to the query dialog box, respond with B6 C2886 from the Data worksheet.
