A score for data quality was developed out of the five dimensions of data quality suggested by the Canadian Institute for Health Information: Accuracy, timeliness, comparability, usability, and relevance – while these dimensions of data quality can differ in names and division, they are included in most of the definitions of data quality.
Overall, our data quality assessment suggests high and increasing completeness of reporting and internal consistency of the Rwanda HMIS data.
