Beyond self-report and sensor data, real-time social media exchanges represent an understudied source of data on channels of peer and social influence relevant to understanding, for example, the spread of risky drinking behavior in a network (see the article by Moreno).
Regarding pattern 2, analysis of the original data [27] of channel catfish (Ictalurus punctatus) (Table S1) in fact showed no differences with respect to the 1∶1 sex ratio (Chi-square test = 1.42, P = 0.233) (Fig. 3B c).
