The project currently includes a variety of sensors and data loggers designed to measure a number of important parameters in buildings, including air and surface temperatures, air relative humidity, human occupancy, light intensity, CO2 concentrations, and a generic voltage data logger that can log data from a variety of other sensors such as differential pressure sensors.
The data logger is designed to have four layers as shown in Figure 2.
The data logger is designed for capturing images and images need more RF bandwidth, disk space, writing speed, etc., than recording other physiological signals such as heart beat, blood pressure, temperature, etc.
CPODs are acoustic data loggers, specifically designed to detect marine mammal echolocation clicks that have been widely used in recent years34,72,73.
A computer real-time control for data logger was also designed successfully for recording the data points in the breakthrough curves.
Thus, the proposed data logger fulfills all the design requirements as discussed in Design requirements section for capsule endoscopy application.
In order to set different settings such as image size, imaging mode, enable/disable real-time view, etc., a menu-based graphical user interface is designed in the data logger as shown in Figure 6.
The overall specification of the designed data logger and its comparison with other works are shown in Table 5.
