The data collection step was performed at a temperature that was 3°C lower than the melting temperature of each amplicon and higher than that of primer-dimers of each primer pair.

PCR mixes were denatured at 95 °C for 10 min followed by a 40 cycle amplification stage, which consisted of 95 °C for 15 s followed by a data collection step of 53 °C for 1 min.
