At low scan rates, the CV shape is rectangular, presenting that the electrode response in charging and discharging is highly reversible.
As the scan rate is increased, no significant deviations are observed from the CV shape, showing good electrochemical reversibility and excellent capacitive behavior.
As shown in Fig. 4a, NOMC and PANI/NOMC-x present an approximately rectangular CV shape at a scan rate of 0.1 V/s, which is the typical feature of a double-layer capacitor.
The quasi-rectangular CV shape without any redox peaks indicates a double-layer capacitive behavior [24, 27]. Figure 4c summarizes the specific capacitance from CV tests with different scan rates.
For a homogeneous population of polarons, every one of which contains the same number of repeat units, the analytical dependence of CV shape on such number m has been derived with a use of the proposed approach.
The excellent CV shape reveals a very rapid current response on voltage reversal at each end potential, and the straight rectangular sides represent a very small equivalent series resistance (ESR) of the electrodes and also the fast diffusion of electrolyte in the films [1].

With increasing sweep rates, the CV shapes were well maintained, even after 100 V s−1, which is a 0.04-s charge/discharge rate (Fig. 3a).
The high rate capability of GO/r-GO electrodes in combination with SN-based GPEs is further confirmed from the rectangular CV shapes up to scan rates of 5 V s−1 for GO and 10 V s−1 for r-GO electrodes.
With the increase in scan rate, the CV curve shape changed to lancet from the rectangle shape; curve area increased and the symmetry of the CV curves became bad gradually.
We worked on everything from corporate governance to getting your CV in shape for NED roles, and networking with the right headhunters.
"The single thing that works best is instilling confidence and helping students prep for interviews and get their CV into shape," insisted Thrun.
